Happy feet to walk far! Tips for beautiful and healthy feet!

Feet are much more than means to stay grounded whenever you’re standing, walking or dancing! Your feet are connecting you with the ground physically and energetically, are the foundation of your body! Here are some tips for keeping your feet beautiful and healthy, even in the summer months!

Feet are beautiful!

Many feet jewels and bracelets have been worn by women throughout history, often by dancers, as foot adornments (aside from social status).

And today, when your feet work just as hard as you do, take time to be nice with them!

Some tips for your perfect feet

  1. Make your foot Spa at home and Chill Out

Allow yourself to have a small recurring ritual, using a bowl of water with some perfumed bubble bath to create you “foot spa”, a great way of giving your feet the attention they really deserve, reviving them and relaxing. Soak your feet for five to ten minutes and then dry them thoroughly using a clean, soft towel.

  1. Have a Foot Massage and a pedicure

Pedicures are a great way to provide basic care for your feet! And then, a foot massage can help you relax, particularly after a long day of standing up and walking around, when your feet tend to swell up. According to the reflexology tradition, each major organ in the body corresponds with a feet area, and from an energy perspective feet are of course of primary importance. You can massage your feet using a rich balm or cream, so you will also nourish them with care!

  1. Lift your feet up

After a long day on your feet, lie down and kick your feet up letting any excess fluid drain out, for example up a wall. This position also relieves tired leg muscles. While you can, try to sleep with a pillow under your feet, it sometimes helps blood flow! Before you follow this tip, please ask your doctor for advice if this is fine for you!

  1. Mould your feet in breathable shoes

Your feet need a breathable fabric that mould to your foot shape. Because each foot is unique and has a unique natural movement. So find adequate footwear which allows your feet to breathe, well-fitting with adequately thick soles.

  1. To Heel Or Not To Heel?

Flats or pumps? Heel surely support a nice leg line, and elongate legs too, but only YOU have to choose if you want to put them on! If you choose pumps, be sure you select the right heels! If you imagine a center line from your own heel to the flour, that line should pass through the shoe heel. High heels are much more comfortable with a little platform, and of course… if the heel is a little bit wider, you’ll have more comfort!
